English Teacher
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding English Teacher to join our team of exceptional teachers.
As our English Teacher, you will do your utmost to ignite a love of the English language and literature and inspire our students to become active learners and informed members of society.
The successful candidate will be an integral member of the department teaching across year groups and will be instrumental in curriculum design and in developing the department further. They will be expected to help run extra-curricular activities and engage and encourage participation and growth in these areas
About The Role and You
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning and deliver engaging and effective English lessons that allow every student to reach their full potential.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
- Foster a love of reading and literature through the exploration of various literacy genres and texts.
- Develop students writing skills through instruction in grammar, composition, and creative writing techniques.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A specialism in English Literature, or a relevant field.
- Experience in teaching
- The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
