Textiles Teacher

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Textiles Teacher to join our team of exceptional educators. Could that be you?

About the Role and You

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality textiles lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Facilitating hands-on learning experiences, including projects and experiments, to enhance students’ understanding and application of design concepts.
  • Fostering a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels empowered to express their creativity and ideas.
  • Integrating technology tools and resources effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A relevant degree in Textiles, Art, Design, or a related field.
  • Significant experience teaching textiles up to GCSE and A Level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A creative and innovative approach to curriculum design.
