Prefect Inauguration

Our prefect team received their badges today in a reinvented, socially distanced ceremony. Mr Waite drew upon the words of President Roosevelt quoting that “Leadership is easy you just need to surround yourself with capable people”. We have no doubt that this exceptional group of young people are indeed very capable.

Mr Waite went on to reflect that this will be an unusual year presenting unique challenges for the prefects in their new roles. He suggested that they are going to need to be creative and imaginative as they find new ways to achieve their goals as prefects. We all look forward to working with them over the following year, thank them for taking on these important roles and wish them good luck as they seek to make a difference to the school.
